  • Macro: It was another mixed session for equity markets yesterday with the EuroStoxx600 posting a decline, whilst in the US, the Nasdaq and S&P500 both made gains, as more encouraging inflation data supported hopes for Fed rate cuts.
  • Later today, University of Michigan data will give the market a glimpse into the sentiment of US consumers in June, which is expected to have improved modestly following a weak read in May. In terms of central bank speakers today, from the ECB we have Vasle, Lane, Mester, Schnable and Lagarde, and from the Fed we have Mester and Goolsbee.
  • Stock: Shareholders of both Smurfit Kappa and WestRock approved the upcoming merger of the companies at their respective EGMs yesterday. (Comment Attached)
  • Debt: Core bond yields continued their trend lower following soft PPI numbers out of the US.
