  • A positive session for risk assets yesterday with Europe and UK markets all finishing modestly in the green while US markets were closed for a holiday.
  • This morning Diageo announced the acquisition of Don Papa Rum for €260m up front, which could potentially rise by a further €177.5m through 2028 on the basis of performance (comment attached).
  • Core bond yields moved marginally higher yesterday in light volumes.
