- A weak session yesterday for risk assets following stronger than expected US and UK economic data which dampened hopes that interest rates have peaked.
- Aviva released H1 results this morning to 30th June. Group operating profit increased 8% to £715m, slightly ahead of estimates for £701m, with EPS up 10% to 19.9p and the interim dividend increased 8% to 11.1p. (Comment Attached)
