  • The major US indices traded lower most of the session before recovering into the close to finish little changed.
  • Allianz, the global leader in insurance, report Q1 results on Friday. Operating profit rose, marginally ahead of forecasts, boosted by a strong performance from the core P&C and Life divisions.
  • Longer-dated sovereign bond yields fell across the board yesterday with the ten-year US Treasury yield down and European bond yields also declining.
