- A very quiet session for markets yesterday due to public holiday closures of major equity and bond markets, including the US for Memorial Day, UK, and Switzerland.
- Nestle, the Swiss food giant, announced the departure of its CFO of eight years this morning. Francois-Xavier Roger is being replaced by Anna Manz, currently CFO of the London Stock Exchange as soon as she is released from her current role.
- Bond markets that were trading yesterday generally reacted positively to the US debt ceiling agreement, with yields declining across the board.
