- Macro: It was a mostly positive session for equities yesterday, as the Eurostoxx600 ended flat, whilst the Nasdaq and the S&P500 both moved higher, led by gains in big tech following Tesla’s strong Q3 earnings release. In economic news in the day ahead, out of Germany, the IFO Business Climate print is set to show a marginal improvement for October. In the US, durable goods orders are forecast to have declined by 1% in September.
- Stock: We have updates on GSK’s respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) vaccine, Apple’s increased market share in China’s Q3 smartphone sales and the future of Allianz’s Global Investors unit. (Comment attached)
- Debt: Core bond yields in Europe moved lower yesterday driven by a weak French PMI whilst US yields increased following lower Jobless Claims.
