- Macro: Markets ended the day higher yesterday with the Stoxx 600 broad index rising slightly, while the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq were also in the green, as the ‘Trump trade’ continued to push stocks higher. Later this morning, we have France, Germany, Eurozone and UK PMI releases, with France and Germany Composite PMI expected to show improvement, whilst the Eurozone is set to remain flat at the 50 level. In the US we have PMI releases at 14:45 and University of Michigan Sentiment at 15:00, both expected to show improvement from their prior reads. ECB speakers today will include Lagarde, Guindos, Nagel and Schnabel, as well as Bowman from the FED.
- Stock: We have updates on Deere’s Q4 results and I-RES REIT’s 9-month trading update. (Comment attached)
- Debt: Core bond yields moved slightly lower yesterday following a lower-than-expected Consumer Confidence index in Europe and Philadelphia Fed business outlook in the US.
