- Macro: Equity markets were mixed yesterday, as the Eurostoxx600 (+73bps) made broad-based gains, whilst the Nasdaq (-38bps) and the S&P500 (-39bps) posted losses, as the recent rally took a breather in a day which lacked meaningful economic data. In the day ahead, the main data release will be MBA mortgage applications out of the US. Central Bank speakers will include Lane, Escriva, Guindos, and Centeno from the ECB, along with Barkin, Bowman, Hammack, Daly, and Bostic from the Fed.
- Stock: We have updates on credit rating upgrades for Bank of Ireland and PTSB, as well as news that Flutter has lost its bid for the Italian lottery license. (Comment attached)
- Debt: US treasury yields trended higher yesterday as commentary from Fed members suggested no rate cuts in the near term.
