Daily Note 03/11/2023 – Market View: Day Ahead, Macro, Stocks, Debt Markets


  • The strong start to November for risk assets continued yesterday, with Europe, the S&P500 and the Nasdaq each finishing in the green, all up on speculation that the Fed and the BOE have finished their rate hiking cycles.
  • After the market closed last night, Apple issued marginally better than expected Q423 numbers (year-end September). (Comment Attached)
  • US treasury market prices moved higher and yields moved lower on the expectation that there would be no more rate hikes from the Fed.
