An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Research Analyst to work with our team in Dublin.

 

Position Overview

Cantor Fitzgerald Ireland (CFI) seeks a Senior Research Analyst servicing its Wealth Management clients in Ireland. The successful candidate will contribute to regular investment commentaries and publications.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Producing regular insightful investment commentary and research on specific agreed equities for distribution to the firms Private Wealth client base vis traditional and social media channels.
  • Building and maintaining financial models on equities under coverage.
  • Formulating and updating investment ideas for both trading and long-term portfolio clients.
  • Actively participating in the analysis and monitoring of discretionary portfolios and contributing to the firm’s investment committee meetings.
  • Contributing to the “house view” on the outlook for main asset classes.
  • Addressing portfolio management/sales desk queries in a timely and efficient manner
  • Contribute to the production of cross-asset thematic research and adhoc projects as required.
  • Provide support and guidance to more junior members of staff.

Key Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in an Analyst role on the sell-side and/or or buy-side.
  • A graduate qualification in a Finance/numerical discipline and/or qualified CFA or ACA.
  • A passion for financial markets and track record of making successful investment recommendations.
  • Strong financial modelling, valuation and analysis skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; both oral and written.
  • A confident and affable team player who thrives working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong information technology skills with a high level of proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Bloomberg and Factset.
