Cantor Fitzgerald Ireland is governed by the following board of directors

Mark Kaplan – Chairman

Mark Kaplan is a Senior Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of Cantor Fitzgerald & Co. He previously spent 10 years as Chief Operating Officer for Société Générale in the Americas, where he was responsible for managing its regional operations, including the IT, Operations, Finance, Product Control, Operational Risk, IT Security, BCP, Sourcing and Real Estate departments. He helped develop and build many of the firm’s business initiatives, complete several significant mergers and acquisitions and lead several regional strategic initiatives. Prior to that position, Mr. Kaplan was the General Counsel for Société Générale for the Americas, leading its Legal and Compliance departments. Before joining Société Générale, he was the General Counsel for CIBC World Markets Corp.’s U.S. operations, and previously served as the Director of Litigation at Oppenheimer & Co., Inc. Mr. Kaplan holds a B.A. from Bucknell University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa, and a J.D. from Columbia University Law School.

Ronan Reid – CEO

Mr Reid is Chief Executive Officer of Cantor Fitzgerald Ireland, a position he has held since Dolmen Stockbrokers was acquired by Cantor Fitzgerald in November 2012. Mr Reid was previously the Executive Chairman of Dolmen Securities Limited since 1995. Prior to that, Mr. Reid was the founder of NCB Futures, the futures fund management division of NCB Stockbrokers. He was with NCB Futures from January 1992 to December 1994. NCB Stockbrokers was one of the first corporate finance and stockbroking houses to be established in Dublin. Between December 1990 and December 1991 Mr. Reid was director of WPMC, a subsidiary of a German insurance company based in the International Financial Services Centre in Dublin, which was involved in managing funds in international bond and currency markets both on behalf of its parent company and third party investors.

Russell Haley – Non-executive

Russell Haley is the CFO for Europe & Asia covering mainly Cantor Fitzgerald Europe and Cantor Fitzgerald Hong Kong but also other businesses in the regions responsible for Product Control, Management Reporting and Statutory/Regulatory Reporting. Mr. Haley is also the Treasurer for Europe & Asia covering mainly Cantor Fitzgerald Europe and Cantor Fitzgerald Hong Kong but also other businesses in the region activities of the wider group. Mr. Haley is responsible for Cash and Collateral Management, Network Management and Liquidity Management.

Sean Capstick – Non-executive

Mr. Capstick is Chief Executive Officer of Cantor Fitzgerald Europe. He also is Head of Prime Brokerage in Europe and sits on the Board of Cantor Fitzgerald Ireland and Cantor Fitzgerald Services LLP. He joined Cantor in 2019. From 2016 to 2019 he worked for GPP, the boutique prime broker, where he was a Board Member and Head of Prime Brokerage. Mr. Capstick worked on the buy side from 2012 to 2015 as Head of New Markets and Board Member, for RWC Partners, the $20bn AUM Equity Asset Manager. From 2010 to 2012 he was European Head of Equity Sales and Head of European Prime Brokerage at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. He was also CEO of Prime Asset Custody Transfer, BAML’s remote bankruptcy vehicle. He was Global Head of Capital Introduction and European Head of Prime Brokerage Sales at Deutsche Bank from 2007 to 2010. He held a number of senior Prime Brokerage and Equity roles at Morgan Stanley (1998-2007) and Goldman Sachs (1993-1998). Mr. Capstick holds an MBA in Finance and Strategy from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois, USA, and a BA in Economics from Northwestern University.

Dan O’Donovan – Independent, Non-executive

Daniel O Donovan has over 35 years’ experience in the financial services industry having served as a bond portfolio manager and trader with the Investment Bank of Ireland and was a founding shareholder of NCB Stockbrokers. He also served as an Executive Director of Montgomery & Govett, Managing Director of New Ireland Investment Managers, Managing Director of Setanta Asset Management Limited and executive director with Canada Life in Ireland during the period 1988 to 2007. Daniel currently serves as a non-executive director on the board of a number of financial service providers which include Mediolanum Asset Management, GAM Start Funds PLC and is Chairman of L&P Financial Services Lt and charitable organisation Rutland. He holds a BA in Mathematics and Economics from University College Cork.

Diane Moore – Independent, Non-executive

Diane Moore previously worked in a consultant capacity for Cantor Fitzgerald Europe/BGC Partners where she provided advice and guidance on regulatory and other matters. Since September 2016 she is a Non-Exective Director on the Board of Cantor Fitzgerald Europe. Mrs Moore also holds the position of Non-Executive Chair of the Audit Committee for Bank of Toykyo-UFJ Mitsubishi EMEA where she is responsible for Chairing the Committee and reporting periodically to Senior Management. She is the Senior Independent Non-Executive Director at MUFG Securities, EMEA where she is a member of the Board of Directors, Audit Committee & Risk Committee and also chairs the Remuneration Committee and Nomination Committee. Mrs Moore holds an MBA from the Open University in UK, an MSc from the University of London and an MA from the University of St Andrews, Scotland. Diane worked for over 25 years at the Bank of England and the UK regulatory authorities as well as on secondment to the central banks of Germany and Austria.
