- Macro: Markets ended the day mixed yesterday with the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq both in the red, as J Powell indicated that rate cuts may come slower than expected. However, in Europe, the Stoxx 600 broad index had a good day rising +1.08%. Later this morning, we get Ireland’s trade balance at 11am, then in the US at 1.30pm we have the Empire Manufacturing Index, Retail Sales, and Import Prices. Then at 2.15pm we have Industrial Production, Capacity Utilisation, and Business Inventories.

- Debt: Core bond yields moved lower yesterday on a relief bounce as some of the ‘Trump Trades’ reversed.
