Tom Browne
Chairperson & Independent, Non-Executive Director
Tom Browne was appointed Chairperson in July 2025 having joined the Board in September 2023 as an Independent Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Risk Oversight Committee. Tom also serves as an INED on other boards including Royal London Insurance DAC and Medisec Ireland CLG.
Tom spent the last 30 years of his working career with Friends First/Aviva Ireland from which he retired in 2020 as the Chief Executive Officer. He had also worked as the Appointed Actuary and then Chief Financial Officer prior to his CEO role. Prior to Friends First, Tom spent time working with Irish Life and Zurich Life. Tom is a qualified Actuary and a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries in Ireland
Gerard Casey
CEO and Executive Director
Gerard Casey joined the firm in 2020 and previously served as Director of Sales, where he was responsible for client and market-facing teams in Ireland.
Prior to joining Cantor Fitzgerald, Gerard held a prominent position as a senior leader at RBC Capital Markets in Europe. He previously spent 10 years at Goldman Sachs during which he occupied various roles in trading and leadership capacities and spent three years at Lehman Brothers as an Equity Trader. He earned an M.A. in Mathematics from Trinity College Dublin.
Michael Cullen
Independent, Non-Executive Director
Michael Cullen was appointed to the Board in April 2024 as an Independent Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Remuneration and Nominations Committee.
Michael was Chief Executive Officer of Investec Ireland between 2000 to 2023 and has over 30 years’ experience in the financial markets, having previously held senior roles within ICC and Citibank. Michael was one of the founders of Gandon Securities, the first Irish company to get an IFSC licence. Michael is also a former Non-Executive Director of The Irish Stock Exchange Plc. Michael graduated with a master’s degree in business studies from University College Dublin and is also a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.
Jacqueline O’Connor
Independent, Non-Executive Director
Jacqueline O’Connor was appointed to the Board in June 2025 as an Independent Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit and Compliance Committee. Jacqueline also serves as an INED on other boards in Ireland and internationally.
Jacqueline has 30+ years of experience in the financial services industry, having spent the majority of her career at Goldman Sachs in various senior executive roles including CEO of Goldman Sachs Asset Management in Dublin and prior to that Head of Regulatory Reform for EMEA in London.
Ronan Reid
Non-Executive Director
Ronan Reid co-founded and led Dolmen (now Cantor Fitzgerald Ireland) growing the company organically and via acquisition to c€7bln in client assets and c21,000 clients. Ronan continues to serve on the Cantor Ireland Boards. He is also Chair of the Green Effects Fund and a Non-Executive Director of Poetry Ireland.
Prior employment included establishing NCB Futures, an entity managing monies in CTA style accounts for NCB and clients and before that WPMC, managing c€1bln of assets for a range of German entities. Other career roles included Institutional Equity Salesman for ABN AMRO, Equity Fund Manager for Montgomery Oppenheim and an Institutional Bond Dealer for Investment Bank of Ireland. Ronan has previously chaired a public property company and a venture capital seed fund and was a director of the Irish Stock Exchange, a REIT fund and Tennis Ireland.
William Ferri
Non-Executive Director
William “Bill” Ferri joined the Board in July 2025. Bill joined Cantor Fitzgerald group in January 2022 as Global Head of Cantor Fitzgerald Asset Management.
Prior to joining Cantor Fitzgerald, Bill spent 25+ years at UBS were from 2017 to end 2021 was Head of Americas for UBS Asset Management Bill started his career in 1991 practicing corporate law at Seward & Kissel, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial & Labor Relations from Cornell University (1988), and a Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law (1991).
